Public Participation

A detailed enviromental analysis will be conducted in order to determine specific impacts of the streetcar system. Two identical scoping meetings will be held to provide project details and obtain community feedback on the scope of the environmental analysis.
A court reporter will be on-hand for the public to identify enviromental issues that need to be evaluated in the Draft Environmental Impact Report. Please attend the meeting that is most convenient for you.

During the week of October 30, 2006, the project team conducted a planning charrette to attain public input and address technical issues in a focused and concentrated one-week period. Part of this process was to provide the public with more information on streetcar systems and gain input as to their preferred destinations. Participants included the general public and specified interest groups, such as neighborhood associations, business and tourism experts, transit riders and developers.

The charrette summary, outlining common themes and destinations, is available for your review.
